Lesnes Estate

Continuing the renegeration of South Thamesmead

Lesnes Estate is between Coralline Walk and Abbey Way. It’s made up of terraced homes and six tower blocks and is home to 596 households.

Our redevelopment of Lesnes Estate forms part of the wider South Thamesmead Regeneration Area.

Our plans are to build around 1,300 new homes of which 35% will be affordable homes.
Since 2016 we’ve been discussing our plans for Lesnes Estate with you. We’ve encouraged everyone who lives here to help us develop our proposals for the area. All this work has helped us shape our proposals for Lesnes Estate site, and the wider South Thamesmead Regeneration Area.

We’ll continue to discuss the proposals with you and everyone living in South Thamesmead.
